Hi, I’m Kandra! I’m a Michigan based wedding photographer who is passionate about capturing authentic, fun, and completely in love couples!

Most days you’ll find me cuddled up with my Shih-tzu while reading a good book, catching up on my favorite TV shows, or of course, behind the camera! I love lattes, trying new restaurants, and DIY-ing my 1950’s ranch.

I’ve always had a love for photography and capturing life’s moments. When I was younger I would always play around with disposable cameras and take photos of my family. I love being able to document moments in time and be able to look back on them. Photos are so important to me (I’m definitely a photo hoarder)! A single photograph can bring back so many emotions, feelings, and specific memories. Weddings are such an important and special moment in your life and the day goes by so quickly! Once it’s all said and done, having the ability to look back on your amazing day is priceless! Making sure those memories are captured beautifully is really important to me and is something I’m really passionate about! 

If I had to describe my photography style in three words, I’d say it is natural, luminous, and authentic. I want to make my couples feel comfortable in front of the camera so that I can capture relaxed and natural images!  During your session I want to get to know you, hang out, and most importantly have fun!

My #1 job on your wedding day? Serve YOU. Your wedding day is all about you and your groom! I want to be there to not only capture all the precious moments, but to also make sure you enjoy your special day too! Whether that means fluffing your train, fixing your veil, or lending a bobby pin. I want to make sure I am serving you in the best way possible.
